Your child creates characters and steers them through a story full of choices, conversations and problems worth solving.

The Game Master pauses at the right moments to tie what just happened back to your child's goals. Reading a passage aloud, speaking up for the party, talking a problem through.

They write letters in character, pick up the techniques behind the story they're in, and start shaping worlds of their own.

What are your credentials?
All of our Game Masters hold a valid, current Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR certification, and experience working with children.
My child has never played D&D. Will they be lost?
Nope! Our sessions are designed to work regardless of a student's experience, and are tailored to their learning goals.
Where and when do sessions run?
We bring the learning to you. Sessions run in your own home across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland in NSW, and there is no equipment for you to buy or set up.
Isn't this just a games club with a label on it?
Every campaign starts with a written list of reading, writing and social objectives for that student. Objectives are ticked off only when a player actually demonstrates them at the table, and you get a record of your own child's progress.
What ages do you teach?
Ages 8 to 18.
Do I have to commit to a whole term?
Nope! You can book a single session first and expand to a full term at any time.
Is D&D too dark or scary for young kids?
Nope! Our stories are designed specifically for the age groups that engage with them. Our Game Masters are always ready to talk to parents and students to keep the story and the learning within expectations.
Can you run sessions for our school or service?
Yes. We offer on-site sessions for schools, libraries, OOSH programs and support services, mapped to your literacy goals with written reporting on request. Use the form on this page and mention your organisation.
